Go Eagles!

Ava got to go to her first FGCU basketball game Saturday night!  She was very excited to be wearing her pretty dress so we took some pictures outside before we left.

We had a snack and some play time at Gulf Coast Town Center before the game.  She loved cheering but did not like Azul the Eagle.

Such a fun night out as a family!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow!  We had a fun day yesterday :)

This year it was just us three and we missed our families but enjoyed a very low key day at home.
It was a beautiful day and I spent some time outside before Matt & Ava woke up addressing Christmas cards.

We enjoyed the parade with some breakfast casserole and then alternated between getting some food ready and relaxing on the couch.

Matt did a turkey in the oven this year instead of in the fryer.  It was delicious!

Ready to EAT!

We talked about and wrote down what we are thankful for and hung our blessings on a tree :)

After a nap and cleanup we watched some football outside!

Now bring on the Christmas season!

I am thankful for Matt and his fun, easy-going attitude.
I am thankful for Ava and her hugs and giggles.
I am thankful for my family in Indiana, their love, facetime, and the chance to see them recently.
I am thankful for good friends.
I am thankful for a job where I can make a difference.
I am thankful that I have everything I need and more.
I am thankful for books.
I am thankful for Grace.

To Gwamma's House We Go!

Ava and I went to Indiana for a few days and had the best time!

Ava was so excited!  We were up at 4:30 AM and she didn't even care because she wanted to get to Gwamma's house!

We landed at 9:30 AM and met Sara, Lucy, Rylee, and Holland at the Children's Museum!

Back at the house we had fun outside, celebrated Thanksgiving with family, visited with Great Grandpa Carr and Grandpa Knapp, and made cookies with Gwamma for a school project!

Ava had a permanent smile for days!

Ava wanted to see Gwamma's castle!

We had the BEST time and Ava was so sad to leave.  We are thankful for opportunities to visit family and look forward to the next trip :)
