We got our tree the night before Thanksgiving and let it rest a few days before decorating :)
Ava was so proud to show Gwamma her big Christmas tree when we facetimed!
She loves playing with the ornaments. She got the Elsa (on the left) this year and the Doc McStuffins last year!
For Matt and I this year I went old-school and tried to get a good memory we each had of our childhood. Matt always talks about how him and Jessica would watch A Christmas Story. He is lovin' his leg lamp ornament!
I loved trolls and get so happy when I think about them :)
We had a blast decorating the tree and Ava has been admiring it every afternoon/evening after school. I'm just proud of us for picking a tree with an actual top this year!

I put a few decorations around the house - mostly just sprinkled some glittery vase filler or ornaments around in vases we already had.
We got this small sparkle tree at Lowe's while we were getting the Christmas tree and I love it! I hung a few glass ornaments on it and hope it lasts a long time :)
We are so excited to be watching Christmas movies and hanging out in our cozy house!

We go see Santa in a few days and I am hoping for our first happy Santa picture ever!
