Holiday Fun

We have had a busy few weeks.

Matt broke his foot before Thanksgiving and it is still not any better :( His first drive in the car a few weekends ago to get us Chick Fil A for breakfast was caught on the news!

He rolled down his window and waved and then sent me a text asking if I was watching the news (I was) so I was able to rewind and see.

Ava totally "gets" the advent calendar this year and is able to understand how many days are left until Christmas. So fun!

We went to see Santa at Bass Pro Shops this year and then went to dinner at Ale House after.

We have been watching A LOT of Christmas movies this month, driving around to look at lights, and have started our Christmas candy!

My friend Nikki has an impressive troll collection and brought them over to show Ava. We played with them and then went to see the Trolls movie!

Ava's elf, Hart, has been visiting her each day and brought this gingerbread house for her to work on!

One more week of school and then we are on Christmas break! We can do it!!

Mistletoe Magic - Dance Recital

Ava had a dance recital this weekend! She has been taking lessons for a year and loves going each week but gets shy when she walks on stage :)

We were back in Punta Gorda with Caiti's family for Thanksgiving this year! They cranked up the pool heater so we could swim and it was a great day! Matt broke his foot last week so it has been a very low key week for him, but we are thankful for time-off from work together!
