We made the trip back to Walt Disney World to celebrate Ava and Matt's birthday weekend. We went two years ago and it was so awesome to be back there again. We are blessed!
We stayed at a hotel within walking distance to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) and it was perfect. We checked in around 4 pm, changed our clothes and walked to Disney Springs. Ava had an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to get a princess transformation. She LOVED it! She is still talking about her fairy godmother :)
We went back to the hotel around 8 and had dinner. Our server brought Ava some birthday ice cream.
The next morning it was off to Magic Kingdom! We took the Ferry Boat and it was so fun to see the castle up ahead. The Welcome Show was going on when we arrived and we were there when they opened the gates!
Ava met so many princesses and had the best day ever. We started out meeting Anna and Elsa and then had breakfast at Be Our Guest (Beauty & The Beast). Since Ava was dressed as Belle all of the staff at the restaurant kept saying "Welcome Home, Princess!". It was so cute :)
We rode a lot of rides, met a few more princesses, and then had birthday lunch with Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger at Crystal Palace.
After lunch we did more of the same: rides, princesses, and then a late dinner at Tony's Italian Restaurant (Lady and the Tramp). We also met Mickey!
After dinner we watched fireworks and the Main Street Electrical Parade. We were wiped out and left the park at 10:30 pm! What a great day!
The hotel we were staying at does a character breakfast every Sunday morning so we got to visit with a few more friends at breakfast and then packed up to head home.
