My favorite was Megyn Kelly's book! I did not know a lot about her story but loved learning about her background and her career.

Home Improvement!
We have been working on a few small home updates the past few weekends. Matt's foot is a lot better but he is not quite ready to boat yet, so we decided to do some work inside in the house :)
First, we gave the laundry room a little refresh. Here are the before pictures:
This chalk board wall stayed the same.
I painted inside and Matt took the cabinet shelves and fronts off and sprayed them outside.
We painted the cabinets, updated the hardware, touched up a few mismatched paint spots on the wall, and updated the utility sink.
Some other house updates involved finally buying a few sets of blinds that work! We have never had blinds that can be opened/closed correctly - you just have to move each slat - so I am loving being able to open and close the blinds on these 2 windows :)
We also got a new desk chair! We had a big, black office chair for years and while comfy, it is the first thing you see when entering the house and since we keep our computer/office area out in the open I wanted to update it.
I bought this sign for the laundry room and love it - but it was too big for that space so I found a new home for it.
The last project was switching out the garage lights. Our house exterior used to be a light tan color and the brown lights worked, but after we painted the house we knew we wanted something a bit darker and larger.
Matt's uncle has a lantern shop in MA and we got 2 of his lights to hang. We love them :)

Bella!
We got a new puppy 2 days after Christmas!

Matt found her from a local rescue and it was love at first sight. After waiting for her to be a bit older we didn't think we were going to get her because the owners had decided to keep her after nursing her back to health. We went to their house to look at some different puppies and after meeting us they called Matt and said Bella was ours if we were still interested!
They were not sure when she was born but suspect early November. She is keeping us busy and we are in love!
