October Books

My favorite book this month was called The Hate U Give.  It is about a girl who lives in a poor neighborhood and attends a private school nearby.  The main character witnesses a friend being shot and the story is about her, her community, and law enforcement.

I read Teresa Giudice's second memoir this month.  It is about her life since leaving prison.  I thought that she shared more than she has in the past on the show and in her first book.

This book was about Whitney's life and relationships.  She talked about anxiety and co-dependency and had funny stories about life to share.

In Gabrielle Union's book she shared about her past sexual abuse and previous bullying.  She discusses race, beauty, being famous and being a woman - all interesting topics to me.

This memoir is about love and relationships and is very funny.  Anna talks about her childhood, dating, her marriages, and her podcast about relationships.
