April Books

Make Trouble was an amazing memoir by the President of Planned Parenthood. It tells about her beginnings as an activist and her current fight for women's health. She is passionate about helping others and I loved learning more about Planned Parenthood.

Matt and I love watching This Is Us and I equally loved reading This Is Me! I enjoyed reading about Chrissy's personal experiences and especially liked her tips to "Bee Mindful". I wish I could hang out with her for a day :)

I loved Ali's other books was excited to read this one this month! She is relatable, hilarious, and while reading you feel like you are hanging out with a best friend.

This book is by a father of 3 who shares personal stories about fatherhood and marriage. I had read an article before and loved his humorous, yet gentle storytelling. It was funny and often spot-on with my own experiences.

Cecil Webb

We went on a ride to see some alligators tonight. We mostly saw deer and cows, but we did see a few gators. The highlight of the evening was seeing a bald eagle! We are so thankful to live in such a beautiful place.

Naples Zoo and Disney On Ice

Matt chaperoned Ava's field-trip to the Naples Zoo on Thursday and then Saturday we had tickets to see Disney on Ice!

The charter bus they took was so nice!

They made penguin habitats after visiting the penguin exhibit!

This year's Disney On Ice was 4 sets and each set was about 20 mins with the story line and songs from the movie.

Outrigger Beach Night

One night while Lo and D were here, Matt and I went to the beach to celebrate our birthdays.

We got there after work on Thursday and had some drinks at the bar, went to an awesome dinner, and then hung out on the beach for awhile. The next morning we were back out on the beach early in the morning for a walk before hanging on the sundeck for a few hours.

It was awesome to have the uninterrupted time together and we had the BEST time!

March Madness

March is always a fun and busy month for the Sherman family!

We kicked off the month with Ava's school carnival. She had fun playing games with Matt while I worked a booth.

We did some major yard work this month. We Matt ripped out all of the bushes surrounding our pool cage and AC/Pool Heater units and planted new hibiscus plants! We love it!

Matt also built this fireplace!

Ava was super brave for her second hair appointment ever and even let Alex wash it :)

The last day of school before Spring Break was field day "Olympics style" and each class chose a country to represent. Ava's class was Japan and they looked adorable!

She brought cupcakes for her class since her birthday was over Spring Break.
