A Sweet Beginning

This year Ava wanted to have a pool party with friends at the house for her 8th birthday!  We rented a water slide and were so excited to celebrate at home with friends.  Because of the virus, many friends did not come but 2 co-workers who live nearby brought their children over and 1 of Ava's best friends from school/dance still came.  She had a blast with her friends and we loved having the water slide for 2 days.

We took the boat out yesterday for Matt's birthday and had a great family day!  He has been working this week while Ava and I are home so it was nice to spend the entire today together doing one of our favorite things :)

We are on Spring Break this week but because of COVID 19 we are social distancing ourselves.  We are hanging out in the pool, watching movies, and going out on the boat.  It has been great weather and we are thankful for our health!

Ava has had 3 dance competitions over the last few weeks and is doing amazing!  They even scored a Platinum and got a 1st place this past weekend!  The second graders at our school participate in Martial Arts classes during PE and they had their parent presentation last week.  It was so cool.  She broke a board and earned her white belt.  We had a family shopping day at Coconut Point and all got some new sunglasses for this Spring.  Finally, Art Club wraps up this week and she loved showing us her profile artwork hanging up at school.  

It has been a busy few weeks and we are ready for Spring Break to be here!
